What can SEO do for You?

SEO is short for Search Engine Optimzation, now you ask what does that mean. SEO is the process of configuring your website so it is listed first when people search for the product or service your web site offers. Actually, only a small portion of the work is done on your web site, most of the work is done out in “cyberworld” on the internet. Your web site is part of a big popularity contest with the search engines. The engines want to display what they think are the most popular, working sites because they want the people to have a productive experience using the search engine.
When it comes down to it you probably don’t care “How” we do it but “What” will do for your business. Yes we are going to bring traffic to your website but we going to bring “targeted” traffic. Targeted traffic is the search phrase someone types in after they have found out that their previous searches were too vague. For example, if some one wanted new tires for their car and they searched for “tires’, they would get all kind of tires in the listing, then they searched for “steel belted radial tires”, now they are finding the product they want but most likely they have not found a store in their area. So their last search try is “steel belted radial tires Huntington Beach”, (where I live) and this time they have found a store close by with the product they are looking for. That is how we help potential clients find you. That customer is ready to BUY and does not need or want to search anymore. The bottom line is you are most likely not going to get a huge increase in traffic, BUT the traffic you get will be ready to buy! If you did get a huge amount of new traffic, chances are most of them would just be “tire kickers”, LOL. In addition to getting the customer that is ready to buy, we will find out from you what product or service is most profitable for you and we will target web searchers looking for that product or service. Organic listings - The sites that are listed down the middle of the page, under the map are the “organic” listings. They are called organic because they appear there naturally because the search engines have determined those sites are the most relevant for the keyword phrase that was entered. There are also the “Sponsored Links” on the page which are displayed down the right side and sometimes at the top of the page. Those ads are known as Pay-per-Click ads and are paid for by the website owner, they can be very expensive and have fluctuating every month.
Keyword phrases - Usually known as keywords are what we type in in the Search field to find the business or service we look for. We take the keywords that you think people will use to find your business, then we run them thru tools to see what people are actually searching for then we analysis them again to see which keywords entered have the least competition and which ones are most likely to make sales! So if you sell tires, you would think you want “tires” to be one of you keywords, you really don’t. when someone searches for “tires” they could see sites that sell truck tires, bikes tires, atv tires, boat tires... you get the idea. But if they search for “Goodyear steel belted radial” and that is a keyword we optimized for you site, they you get a visitor to your site that knows what they and is ready to buy. We aren’t going to jam your site with all the “tire” traffic, just the “targeted” traffic that knows what they want.
Backlinks - The sites getting the top organic listings are the winners of the popularity contest with the search engines. One of the major contributing factors is the number of backlinks to a site. A “backlink” when is one web site has the address to another web site in the content. For example, maybe someone wrote a blog about the best steel belted radial and they put a link to the Goodyear site.
Having the a large amount of backlinks adds to a website’s popularity, but having the most doesn’t automatically make your site the top choice for the search engines to list. Another factor is the quality of the links. The more links coming from an authority site, like YouTube.com the better. Also if the backlinks are coming from industry related site’s, that makes your web site more relevant to your product or service and increases your popularity.
